SALES MANAGER – SHANGHAI (Flexible Location if Needed)


We are looking for a talented sales manager to join the team in Shanghai. The role will be able to take on the business development of Your Wine Rep. The candidate will learn about the wines, process, values & goals of our partners, in order to represent them well and to reach full market potential in China.


RESPONSIBILITIES


• Prospect and sustain a network of prospective clients (importers)

• Be organize and keep our CRM up to date

• Coordinate with wineries for marketing materials, sample requests

• Be a good communicator so information flows easily between clients and producers

• Oversee and follow up on all the pitching process: sending offers, arranging samples, negotiating, preparing contracts, closing the sales and negotiating eventual exclusivity agreements

• Plan monthly business trips (mainly in 1st tier cities , 2nd tier cities may be extended if needed)


REQUIREMENTS


• Fluent in Mandarin and English, other language skill is a plus (French/Italian/Spanish)

• 0-5 years of related experience (wine industry preferred)

• Basic wine knowledge is required (WSET / other wine credential is desirable)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other

• Independent, a self-starter and strong problem solving and communication skills

• Frequent business travel is required
